I’m a big breakfast guy and oftentimes eat it any time of the day. There is nothing wrong with pancakes, eggs, and sausage for dinner.
French toast is one of my favorites and this recipe with homemade cream cheese syrup made the cinnamon french toast amazing.
The addition of the fresh strawberries put this dish over the top. Get a big glass of milk for this one and maybe a couple of sausage patties.
The syrup will thicken when cooled, but you need to reduce it until it starts to thicken and gets bubbly. It scales well and will store in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks in an airtight container.
