Aldi’s had the Mama Cozzi’s gyro pizza on special this week along with the Cuban-style pizza. They were both on sale for $3.99 and I couldn’t wait to try the gyro pizza. I love anything gyro, especially when Arby’s has the 2/$5.00 gyros.
Aldi’s pizza is really good, and even better when you kick them up with extra toppings. We usually grab a couple of Mama Cozzi’s when they’re on sale and put them in the deep freezer.
When we need a quick pizza fix, I cook them with extra cheese and a little olive oil. Frozen pizza is much better when you add extra toppings to them.
I can honestly say, that Aldi’s gyro Pizza was really good, better than I anticipated. I actually didn’t know what to expect, but the taste didn’t let me down.
