Frozen hash browns are one of my favorite breakfast foods. I love eating potatoes with over-medium eggs. Fried potatoes with onions and crispy golden brown hash browns make for a delicious and satisfying breakfast, but don’t forget a nice cup of black coffee.
When I don’t have time to peel and shred potatoes for homemade hash browns, I like to fry up some frozen grocery store-bought hash browns. The only problem is that they’re full of fat because they’ve been pre-fried.
Then when you cook them with more fat, they become very high in fat calories.
They taste really good, but I don’t always want the extra grease. I fixed that problem by cooking the frozen hash browns in the air fryer. I was very surprised at how delicious they were with very little cooking time.
I pre-heated my Power Xl Air Fryer for 3 minutes and cooked the hash browns for 10 minutes. They were done around the 8-minute mark, but they weren’t extra crispy.
