Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. are not only joining the chicken sandwich war, but they’re putting three new chicken sandwiches into the war.
Their new hand-branded chicken sandwich line includes a classic chicken sandwich, a chicken and biscuit sandwich, and an all-new chicken waffle breakfast sandwich.
Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. chicken sandwiches are so good because they’re making fried chicken as you would make at home.
In the South, we make fried chicken with buttermilk and seasoned flour, just like Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s are doing.
They start with high-quality all-white-meat chicken and marinate it in their very own special seasoning blend.
Before cooking, the chicken is dipped in buttermilk and hand-breaded. The end product is a very crispy and delicious piece of chicken.
- The Hand-Breaded Chicken sandwich is a twist on a classic chicken sandwich. It’s fried to perfection after being dipped in buttermilk and breaded. It’s served on a potato bun with fresh crisp pickles and mayo.
- The Hand-Breaded Chicken Biscuit is one of my favorite. I’m from the South and a chicken biscuit sandwich is a Southern staple. I can’t wait to try their hand-breaded all-white-meat chicken on their made from scratch biscuit. We can all agree that Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. biscuits are probably the best of all the fast-food restaurants.
- The Hand-Breaded Chicken and Waffle sandwich gives a whole new meaning to Chicken & Waffles. They take their crispy chicken and serve it between a Belgian waffle topped with a buttery maple sauce.
