Ground Beef Tacos

Southwester-style crispy ground beef tacos

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. 80-20 ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon dark red chili powder or regular chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ancho chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon flour optional
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Start browning the ground beef in a skillet. When the meat is halfway cooked, add all of the spices
  • Add the water and stir well. Add flour and stir well.
  • Cover and simmer on low for 15-20 minutes

Notes

The flour makes the taco meat a little thicker so it stays on the taco shells better.
